Deliverables / Purpose:

We’re looking for two experienced Guidewire Developers with deep InsuranceSuite integration experience and compulsory Lead ACE Integration Certification.

You’ll take ownership of integration architecture and delivery across the programme, translating business and solution architecture into detailed integration designs, sequence diagrams and interface contracts. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll guide a small team of integration developers while staying close to design, build, testing and deployment.

The work spans API specifications, message schemas, data mappings, secure integration patterns, error handling, idempotency, observability and scalable delivery.

Contract details:
  • Initial 6 month contract
  • Remote work from New Zealand 
  • Occasional 2–3 day trips to Sydney for business meetings 
The skills and experience we need you to bring
  • Compulsory certifications include Core Guidewire ACE: Developer, Associate, Lead or Specialist OR ACE Cloud Integration certification is preferred  Lead ACE Integration Certification Certification must align to Mammoth, Niseko or Olos OR can be in process of completing
  • Strong Guidewire InsuranceSuite integration experience 
  • Proven experience across APIs, messaging, ETL, eventing and integration architecture 
  • Ability to translate solution architecture into practical integration designs 
  • Experience creating sequence diagrams, interface contracts, API specs, message schemas and data mappings 
  • Strong understanding of secure, resilient and scalable integrations 
  • Comfortable with error handling, idempotency, observability and integration best practice 
  • Experience leading or mentoring integration developers through design, build, unit testing and deployment 
  • Able to break work into deliverables, estimate effort and support sprint planning or backlog refinement 
  • Confident working with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Application Leads, QA and DevOps / Platform teams
